Áreas dentro de la Reserva en su momento fueron utilizadas por Estados Unidos y OTAN para prácticas militares. Municiones peligrosas todavía se encuentran en el fondo marino y playas de esta zona protegida. Años bajo el mar pueden dejar las municiones incrustadas y difícil de ver, y pueden ser muy peligrosas. Nunca toques, muevas o remuevas las bombas del mar o la orilla.

Areas inside this Reserve were once used by U.S. and NATO for military target practice. Dangerous unexploded ordnance (bombs) litter the sea floor and beaches of this protected area. Years of sea life may encrust bombs today. They are not obvious, and can be very dangerous. Never touch, move or remove a bomb from the water or shore.

Strong currents pass through the center of the canal and also around the points. Shore divers should see the wooden signs located at the terrestrial entrance points for information specific to that shore.
